Synopsis

A Terrific example of the 1940s Class A Western. Lots of action in an elaborate production telling the drama of the radical John Brown in his fight to free the slaves. Good action scenes as Jeb Stuart (Flyn) goes after Brown (Massey). The man who went from Hollywood actor to President, Ronald Reagan, plays Flynn's West Point classmate and romantic rival, George Armstrong Custer.
