A Killer disguised as a Major in the Carabinieri enters a Nursing Home and murders an Italian-American Crime Boss due to be questioned by a magistrate. Detective De Carmine is assigned to investigate this murder and he has his own way of making suspects talk - a little too rough for his superiors though.Several suspects and witnesses are killed to hinder the investigations. De Carmine's girlfriend Linda, is murdered and he himself is brutally bashed to warn him off, but this only intensifies his own personal vendetta. He suspects Police involvement and realises that orders for all these killings must be coming from a much higher source. De Carmine's task now is to find that source - his way.
