Synopsis

Deep within the tomb of Tutankhamuh a violent earthquake shatters a wall, revealing the coffin of Ankh-Venharis - 'Noble Traveller'. Surrounding the coffin are the bodies of six ancient attendants, all of whom died horribly, their flesh partly eaten away to the bone by a now - apparently - dormant green fungus.
The coffin is shipped to the Californian Institute of Science where X-rays reveal five diamond-like crystals hidden within the coffin walls. The drama begins when one of the technicians, believing the diamonds to be of value, steals them and repeats the massive X-ray dose to cover the theft. His actions (unknowingly) cause the revival of the ancient green fungus, and allow the mummy of Akh-Venharis to escape.
The Mummy, determined to retrieve the crystals, begins a search of the university which ends up as a journey of death and despair for those with whom it comes in contact. University staff, armed with additional information, finally discover that the mummy is of alien origin which is substantiated upon finding Ankh-Venharis assembling a transmitter with the missing crystals, essential components. As police arrive on the scene, guns drawn, the transmitter emits a powerful flash which leaves them amazed and speechless at what they have witnessed - the disappearance of a youthful alien traveller, hand in hand with one of the university professors.
The Time Walker has continued his travel through time and space.
