Synopsis
THE EXPLOITS OF A DIVORCE CAN BE FUNNY... AND SAD
In this comedy-drama Hal Holbrook plays a newly divorced man in his late 30's who exploits his new found 'freedom' by plunging into singles society but is quickly repelled by the bizarre people he meets in this swinging world. Things look up when he meets a lovely divorcee (Barbara Rush) but he is unexpectedly swept off his feet by a beautiful model with whom he returns to the singles world he had earlier rejected. The result is sadly comic.
