Doctor Henry Stein and his wife come to a village where strange and mysterious happenings occur. The local villagers offer young local girls as sacrifice to a ghost-like group of horsemen who have been dead for hundreds of years. After removing the warm heart from the dead girls they offer it to a statue which they worship, in a crypt. Many young girls have died at the hands of the weird mounted group and the doctor and his wife are determined to put a stop to the ghastly and brutal deaths.
