Synopsis

The title song of this Elvis Presley movie sold a million records worldwide and remained in the British charts for 12 weeks. The 'wild' of the title refers to the nature of a rebellious farmboy who finds himself in trouble with the law and facing a charge of manslaughter when he becomes involved with three women in the Shenandoah valley in which he lives - innocent Millie Perkins, earthy young Tuesday Weld and attractive widow Hope Lange. The trio of glamorous female stars and some fine Elvis numbers ('In My Way' and 'Lonely Man') make this one of the most interesting and entertaining of all Elvis' films.
