Synopsis

A fascinating Alfred Hitchcock thriller set in San Francisco. James Stewart is Scotty Ferguson, a retired police detective with a fear of heights. He is hired by an old friend to shadow his neurotic wife and the more he gets involved, the more baffled he becomes. To reveal more details would spoil a great film! Many sequences are in Hitchcock's best style and a fine musical score by Bernard Hermann adds to the atmosphere.
