Daniela is obsessed by the trauma of childhood rape and by the memory of an ancestor who was burnt at the stake as a witch 200 years earlier. Her violent repugnance for men leads her to commit muder [sic] in attacks of madness. Just when she appears to have regained her equilibrium, thanks to the man with which she has finally fallen in love, a new tragedy pushes her into an irreversible state of insanity and she kills every man in sight before fleeing to a forest and, in her premordial [sic] state, seeking to die as her ancester [sic] died.
