It is November, yet on the island of Fara the temperature is in the nineties and still rising, rising to an alarming degree. A tramp is incinerated by a great concentration of heat, sheep are discovered in the same condition. Electrical chaos reigns as the intensity of the heat causes televisions to explode and telephone communications to fail. The inhabitants are trapped. The discovery of creatures which radiate the intense heat, leads to further horror as all attempts to stop advancing creatures fail. Not even dynamite can halt them.....
