A feeling of unease crept over her....
Brilliantly convincing performances heightened by thoughtfully moody photography combine to make this a tension filled terror picture with heart stopping shocks and an ingeniously unexpected twist in the tail. The story is set in a private sanatorium where the unusual methods involve total integration between staff and patients. A new nurse arrives to take up the post she has been offered by Dr Stephens who is fatally attacked by a patient just before the girl's arrival. Dr Masters takes over, and with the nurses' help intends to restore calm. The girl confronted by some of the bizarre patients, finds it difficult to adjust to their strange, unnerving ways. A feeling of unease creeps over her. All is not as it should be, and a series of frightening outbursts from the patients and horrifying attacks herald the terrible conclusion.
