Alex Rodak is a successful Polish theatre director, living with his family in London. A sensitive man, yet insensitive to his older son, Adam, teased at school and striving for attention at home, desperate to belong and anxious to prove himself. The action covers twelve hectic days in the life of the Rodak family, during which Alex prepares for an extravagant show at the West City Theatre; Adam comes to terms, coping with his own reality.
