Synopsis

A thriller for the younger viewer
Milbury is a village held in curious captivity by the psychic forces that appear to be generated by a massive circle of Neolithic stones. Newcomers fall victim one by one to a state of euphoric thralldom, surrendering individuality and independent will. At the centre of this bizarre web of psychic power and mental slavery is Hendrick (IAIN CUTHBERTSON) the professor of astronomy who occupies the Manor. It was Hendrick who discovered an imploded star, a so-called 'black hole', that carries his name. Into Milbury comes scientist Adam Brake (GARETH THOMAS) and his young son, Matthew and a curious old tramp called Dai (FREDDIE JONES) . Dai owns an ancient amulet, his shield against the unseen powers. But one day it fails him...
