Synopsis

There have been many courtroom drams over the years, but none quite like THE PARADINE CASE. The collaboration of producer David O Selznick and director Alfred Hitchcock saw to that. Tension reaches an all-time high as lawyer Anthony Keane (GREGORY PECK) faces the hostile Judge Horfield (CHARLES LAUGHTON) and finds himself falling in love with his client, Mrs Paradine (ALIDA VALLI) a beautiful woman accused of murder. A stunning masterpiece that leads the courtroom participants through the heights of love and trust, to the depths of frustration and betrayal. It remains unsurpassed in its dramatic impact, thanks to the brilliant talents that conceived this film.
