The hunting expedition that turned into a nightmare!
A wealthy and successful attorney from New York (ANDY GRIFFITH) travels to an isolated desert to hunt bighorn sheep. There he hires as a guide a young local boy, Ben Whiting (SAM BOTTOMS). When Ben discovers that Maddock's first kill is not beast but man, he himself becomes the hunter's target - forced into the blazing desert without food, clothes or shelter, stalked mercilessly by a deranged persecutor intent on his destruction.
