Scientists are developing a death ray weapon designed to turn anything it is focused an into a wisp of gaseous vapor. This story of a scientist's experiment and the creation of an ASTRO-MAN, a gaseous being capable of existing forever in the elements of outer space. Given the ability to disappear and reappear at will, the VAPOR MAN takes unearthly license to murder and plunder for the woman he loves. This is the fantastic concept. The action is placed in modern Tokyo and introduces one of Tokyo's talented new personalities. KAORU YACHIGUSA. Known to world audiences by her poignant portrayal of MADAM BUTTERFLY now appears in the role of THE DANCER.
