Synopsis

There's a life after death – if you make the proper arrangements!
Skipper Marc Rogers (Alex Sheafe) sails his new ketch ZODIAC from the Panama Canal Zone and picks up a mysterious passenger, BAXTER (James Monks) and a vagrant KEEFER (Aldo Ray). During the voyage Baxter suffers a heart attack and is buried at sea. The death of Baxter coincides with the death of BRYAN HARDY, wealthy industrialist who is killed when his yacht mysteriously explodes at sea. But has Bryan Hardy really died? This is the question put to Rogers in Miami by Victor Slidwell (KEENAN WYNN), strong man for the Syndicate. $1,500,000 in stolen bonds are missing and so is the fence, Bryan Hardy, Alias BAXTER? The Mob wants the bonds, so do the F.B.I. and when the beaten up body of Keefer is washed ashore, the Police join in the hunt. Marc Rogers is a hunted man. Pursued through the Caribbean by the Police, The F.B.I. and the Syndicate. He sinks deeper and deeper into a web of murder and intrigue with each effort to extricate himself. Rogers is the key to the mystery, the target for suspicion, threatened, cajoled, interrogated and attacked by everyone. Paula Stafford (DOROTHY MALONE), is in the swindle and meets a bloody end. The trial eventually leads back to the Zodiac and escape through shark infested seas where the mystery is finally unravelled.
