Synopsis

Robert Louis Stevenson's famous classic with Kim Burfield as Jack Hawkins. Famous characters, Billy Bones, Blind Pew, Dr. Liversey and Squire Trelawney, come to life under the skilful direction of John Hough.
The story of piracy on the high sea begins with the arrival of a mysterious sea captain Billy Bones at the Benbow Inn run by Mrs. Hawkins and son Jim. Following the Captain's death after receiving "the black spot" Jim takes the map entrusted to him to Dr. Liversey and Squire Trelawney who decide to set sail for Treasure Island unwittingly taking as crew the very men responsible for the death of Billy Bones.
