One day a stranger arrives: Django (FRANCO NERO), with a coffin and a woman. When a quarrel breaks out in a local saloon, Django kills four of his men. and Jackson is forced to flee. When Jackson returns later with his gang, Django takes a machine-gun out of the coffin and wreaks havoc. Django sells the gun to Mexican General Hugo for a large amount of gold. When payment is deferred, Django goes to the warehouse where Hugo's gold is hidden and makes off with the precious cargo hidden in the coffin. But the Mexicans catch up with Django, and punish him by crushing his hands under their horses' hooves. Hugo and his men are later attacked and massacred by Jackson. Django goes back to town and awaits his revenge on Jackson with a loaded pistol at the cemetery.
