A series of strange incidents, at first thought to be accidents, arouse the suspicions of Deputy Sheriff Brooks. He decides to investigate with the help of a lady professor who is studying the occult. Together they witness the sacrifice of a beautiful young girl. The satanic worshippers become aware of their presence and a pursuit begins which can only promise for the pursued a terrible and horrifying death.
