Synopsis

THE FILM OF THE XIITH WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES
White Rock is the film of the XIIth Winter Olympic Games. It is unlike any previous Olympic or sports film - in concept, style of scope. It shows the raw elements of danger, speed, aggression and courage that epitomize winter sports. To highlight the power of the action, an important score has been recorded by rock superstar, Rick Wakeman - original and explosive music that erupts across the screen. Binding the action together is James Coburn, who acts out his fantasies, and those of the audience, by driving a two man bobsled, playing goalie in ice hockey, and experiencing the demands of the biathlon. White Rock - a theatrical feature in which moving pictures are not there merely to back up a rock score, but to blend with the music... to heighten the emotions... to stimulate the mind.
