Mistaken Identity, Wild West Shoot-Outs, Indians and Gold Fever - Marvellous Entertainment
Wandering around land recently granted for a reservation to the Indians by treaty, a derelict stumbles upon the richest gold deposits on earth. A wild and bloody town called Deadwood is spawned in a gulch, attracting the roughest, toughest miners, gamblers and murderous gunfighters. Looking for some easy pickings young gunfighter Billy May (Arch Hall Jr.) and his companion Tennessee (Jack Lester) arrive in town but Billy May is mistaken for Billy the Kid. This is a tragic mistake because Wild Bill Hickok is anticipating the arrival of Billy the Kid and a shoot out is promised. After leaving town Billy May is captured by Indians and carried off. This is the territory of Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull and they don't give up prisoners easily. There is a terrible carnage when the Indians are tracked down and a gunfight takes place. Billy is rescued but an unexpected twist in the plot confronts hero Billy at the hanging tree. This is the time and the land of Calamity Jane, Fast Gun Sam Bass, Poacher Smith, Billy the Kid, Billy May, Wild Bill Hickok, and many other names dripping in blood. But the bloodiest year of all was 1876.
