Can't say I'm a fan of The Blue Oyster Cult but Ronnie James Dio is what I bought this for and he proves that he was fine replacement for Ozzy.  A completly different animal but his venomous snarling vocals just kill with power.  He will be sorley missed but never forgotton thanks to the fantastic performances he gave the world.
