Sonny and Cher, the swinging sixties American singing duo, star in this madcap musical comedy in which they create fantasy movies for a lugubrious film tycoon called Mordicus [George Sanders]. Of course Mordicus in finlly foiled in his attempt to exploit the happy-go-lucky-couple and Sonny and Cher manage to make room for many of their greatest hits.
