Synopsis

A comedy with a difference. He, George Segal is a struggling inhibited writer. She, Barbra Streisand, is a star of a 42nd street skin-flick called "Cycle Sluts", and her motto is "l may be a prostitute - but I'm not promiscuous!" In the course of some of the strangest and funniest scenes ever to be part of an American movie, they find out why "their thing" will work. Written by the highly talented Buck Henry, who scripted THE GRADUATE and CATCH 22, the film version of the Broadway play is an hilarious free-thinking outrageous saga of love, lust and comedy, and also one of Streisand's funniest and most entertaining performances.
