Revenge thriller in a similar vein to Last House on the Left, Demented, Death Weekend, House on the edge of the Park et al. If you like these type of films you may like this too, though I felt it was on the tamer side of some of those heavy weights. Gang of bad boys with the architypal moody leader, a baffoon and the leaders right hnd man get their kicks raping the waitresses of the diners they rob, hardly big cheeses in the robbery world their booty never gets above double digits but they have their moraless fun anyway. Needless to say the brother of one of the victims takes umbridge at the death of his sister and lack of justice and takes on the gang single handedly. Some of the acting is a tad wooden, I couldnt decide if the father of our hero was a character or a Sycamore, the deaths are not too gory, nor original, but it kept me entertained for the most part. The special effects would only challenge the makeup of my seven year old niece and its as predictable as the days of the week. That said  I was only bored with some dialogue in middle for ten minutes or so and it pulled itself back. Overall I felt it did nmot quite live up to its reputation, but then I may have just seen too many films in this sub genre that are much nastier. You can find worse ways to waste an hour and a half around here, so its worth checking out if only that its one of the best titles on this label.
