Synopsis

Six of Morph's TV stories set in his Under-the-Table world, featuring Chas and Delilah, Gillespie and Grandmorph, Folly and the Very-Small-Creatures-and, of course, "Nailbrush". MORPH'S BIRTHDAY PARTY. What's the point of a birthday with no presents and no "many happy returns"? But the family has remembered after all. With great difficulty Delilah makes a cake as a surprise, and Morph ends his birthday with a splash. MORPH'S PLAYS GOLF. Morph meets his match when Chas plays with a "magic" ball and Gillespie, with the help of the Very-Small-Creatures, hides in the ground to scare him! THE TWO MOUNTAINEERS. "All for one - and than one's me!" is Morph's usual cry, but this time after an amazing ascent of the North Face of Tony's studio, it's the others who take the cake. THE DAY MORPH IS ILL. Nobody can be more ill than Morph! When the strain of looking after him is too much the others collapse - and he has to look after them! A SWIMMING-POOL IN THE GARDEN. The roots of Morph's rooftop garden grow down through the ceiling and the whole lot falls in. It's Grandmorph's brainwave and Delilah's plumbing that converts the garden into a swimming-pool for them all. THE DOUBLE-DECKER BOOT. With a converted boot as a caravan, drawn by Nailbrush, Morph leaves home to start a new life in the open countryside - but a stormy night changes his mind.
