Oscar winner GEORGE KENNEDY (COOL HAND LUKE, STEEL) stars in this tense action drama of mistaken identity and unrelenting pursuit, also starring GREGG HENRY and KAY LENZ.
Country western singer Paul Ramsey (HENRY) is on his way to Nashville, Tennessee when his car breaks down. He hitches a ride with a couple who hit a young child on a backwoods road and then swear that Paul was driving. Paul finds himself railroaded into a prison headed by the ruthless Captain Kinsman (KENNEDY) and a fool proof security system - Rattler, a doberman who kills on command! When Paul's wife (LENZ) is unable to obtain any legal help, Paul devises a plan to escape.
