In the early 1900s, the tranquillity of a rural Wisconsin town is abruptly shattered by the arrival of Rascal, an overactive baby raccoon. Young Sterling North (Billy Mumy) adopts the abandoned creature, and hilarious mishaps seem to occur whenever Rascal wanders onto the scene. The townsfolk try their best to accept this mischievous new "mascot", but it becomes clear that Rascal is not your ordinary everyday pet!
