Synopsis

Every woman should have a boy like Norman. He was 13, precocious and in love with his beautiful, frustrated, sister in law. Norman (Tony Owen) is a sensitive, precocious 13 year old boy preparing for his entry into Jewish manhood - the Bar Mitzvah. Rose (Carol Kane) is his sister in law and the object of his passion. As this unusual and hilarious love story unfolds the childless Rose finds herself pregnant after years of marriage to Michael (David Downer). Michael's parents (Myra de Groot and Warren Mitchell) are delighted, but who is responsible? Michael or Norman? Fantasy or reality - whatever... every woman should have a boy like Norman. Directed by Henri Safran, internationally acclaimed for "Storm Boy". Norman Loves Rose is a story that will bring a smile to everyone's face and jog all those memories of that special "first" love.
