Synopsis

The shocking story of Teenage Gangs
The Silks....The most vicious juvenile street gang of all ....led by the killer they call Eddie the Cat ....The Ruedas, a Chicano gang ....deadly rivals ....Joey, Cat's brother determined to go straight when he is parolled from prison ....Claudine, Joey's faithless wife, having an affair with an older Chicano, Garvanza....These are the main characters in this story of teenage gangs, taken from confidential police files. The film follows the lives and exploits of these gangs set against a background of wild parties, wild fights and wild living. It also concerns Cat's struggle to stay leader of the Silks. He is basically a coward and the film reaches a tremen- dous climax in a freight yard where Cat and the Silks are stealing television sets. However, they are ambushed by the Ruedas ....
