Synopsis

This film is a tribute to the men who flew the British and Allied aircraft of World War II. Captured by exciting and graphic ground and air to air action photography this video tells the stories of many of the most famous Warbirds. Filmed during the Gary Numan Warbirds Air Display the production features dose up action details of aircraft such as the Spitfire, Lancaster, Mustang and DC 3 Dakota. The undoubted star of the show is the formidable Sally 'B' Flying Fortress seen on the television series "We'll Meet Again...". The spectacular action has been edited with actual footage taken during raids and attacks to create the most definitive display of these incredible aircraft. Special aerial sequences combined with the classic Glenn Miller hits of the day has produced this memorable and vivid portrait of the Great Warbirds.
