Synopsis

The story of a young girl's love of life.
Set amidst the tortuous beauty of the Cornish coastline, this poignant and moving story concerns a young girl, Mally, and as is so often the legacy of seafaring folk, her involvement in tragedy. One dark and stormy evening her father's limp and lifeless body is seen washed up on the beach. Hurrying to his aid, Mally's mother sends her to fetch help from the village, but alas, although she knocks on every door, her frantic pleas for help are ignored. Every door remains firmly closed. She returns to the cove, and there, to her horror she discovers the body, not only of her poor father, but that of her brave mother as well. Mallys [sic] grief is only tempered by her desire for explanations.
