Synopsis

Madame Claude (Francoise Fabian) introduces discreet, beautiful and seductive girls to leading politicians, international diplomats and industrialists. David (Murray Head), a young fashion photographer, tries to distract the investigation of the police into his own activities by supplying them with a list of Madame Claude's clients... and photographs of their kinky "affairs". The CIA fears that Davis is using the photographs for blackmail and an agent is sent to "liquidate" him. Finally, the local police see a need to retrieve the photographs and during an exotic masquerade ball staged for Madame Claude's clients the story reaches its dramatic climax. A sensuous and revealing picture of political and sexual intrigue based on the real story of Europe's most famous madam.
