A young man, Paul, proposes to his girl Lesley as a creature rising from the grave attacks. Paul is dead and the girl raped then the creature escapes. For Lesley the Horror as just begun - she is pregnant and bears a son, weak, wizened and grey. It refuses milk but eagerly sucks at her blood from accidental cuts. Only Blood will satisfy this baby and Lesley keeps him satisfied until her death when he is in his teens. Is it by a primitive instinct that he tracks down his father? Professor Lockwood is teaching at a Co-ED College where a pupil Anita interested in the occult believes the professor to have wierd [sic], almost impossible ancestors. A classical vampire horror story culminating in a confrontation between father and son.
