A member of a bizarre reincarnation cult tries to convert two vulnerable people: A young sculptor on whom he hopes to bestow the memory of his former lives, and a virginal girl to murder as a sacrificial offering to the other world. For close to 1,000 years the Sekana cultists have believed in reincarnation: that the great truth of the universe lies in man's subconscious memory of past lives. Sekana's foilowers themselves reincamates - seek to unlock these memories and pass them from person to person through the centuries. So when one such reincarnates, Everett Julian, discovers he is soon to die, he tries to convince a young man to take on his memory - and shows the reluctant youth the quality of life he will lead should he refuse?
