Three American secretaries, weary of the tyrannical methods of their chauvinist boss, spin private fantasies about how they would like to get even with him. One method is to spike his coffee with rat poison. When it seems as though fantasy will turn into reality the girls panic, kidnap the boss and push through some much needed office reforms... One of the most riotously funny and pertinent comedies in recent years, this film is delightfully played by Jane Fonda (in a rare comedy role), Lily Tomlin and country singer Dolly Parton who also wrote the Oscar-nominated title song.
