The hilarious adventures of overweight Italian Dom DeLuise who decides to start slimming down after the death at an early age of an obese cousin. The trouble is he's a man with little will-power and whenever food is presented to him he caves in at every temptation... Written and directed by Anne Bancroft (in real life Mrs. Mel Brooks) this fast-moving zany film concentrates on all aspects of gluttony and races through every type of food and crazy joke imaginable. Bancroft co-stars as the sister of DeLuise; Candice Azzara provides the romantic interest.
