Jack Crabb, a 121 year-old survivor of Custer's last stand sits in his hospital room, telling his incredible life's story to a historian. It begins in 1859, when Jack was captured together with his sister Caroline by the Cheyenne Indians. Caroline escaped, but Jack was raised to manhood by Cheyenne Chief Old Lodge Skins.
