A pretty shoddy and completely unfunny curio from the sexploitation era, with the redoubtable king of the blue club comics making a decent fist of the thankless task of presenting several striptease routines, with a then-unknown Su Pollard on the sidelines. In fact, the future Hi-De-Hi! star does manage to crack at least one really funny joke, which I'll leave to the curious viewer to discover. The rest of it is bog-standard stag night entertainment, repackaged on video somewhat deceptively in the nineties as 'An Unbelievably Dirty Evening with Bernard Manning'. On its original release, it played as a supporting feature to Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978), making a classic textbook example of an unlikely double bill.
