Greed takes on the sinister cloak of murder
Delightful Susan George (Marianne) is force to make a quick escape from her apartment in Spain when threatened by the Judge's henchmen, and is picked up by Sebastian, a passing English tourist. They return home to England where a casual romance develops into an even more casual wedding in which Marianne ends up marrying Eli, the best man, an arrangement which seems to please her! Sebastian, who recognised Marianne as a source of easy money, is furious and vows revenge by revealing Marianne's whereabouts to her father, the Judge, and her treacherous half sister, Hildegard. Marianne is about to come into an inheritance which will provide her with a fortune and incriminating evidence of the Judge's ruthless background of blackmail and extortion. Marianne and Eli are tricked into going to Portugal to the Judge's luxurious villa where greed takes on the sinister cloak of murder in the death chase that follows.
