Four balloonists are caught up in a storm and drift ashore on a strange island where a race of primitive women at first appear to be the only inhabitants. But they are soon to learn that they are to be the permanent 'guests' of Baron Frankenstein's great, great granddaughter, under guard of a band of unpredictably violent experimental mutations. Learning that they are to be a blood supply for the continuation of the baron's experiment, they decide to escape, but they have underestimated the power of Frankenstein who summons his monster creation to lead the deadly mutations into attack...
