Synopsis

Based upon Joseph Wambaugh's best selling novel, The Black Marble is an action-filled off-beat comedy, the setting the Hollywood station of the Los Angeles Police Department. Natalie Zimmerman, detective sergeant, is reluctantly paired with Sgt. Valnikov, a drunk and a dreamer. Their ill matched relationship develops into an uneasy love affair set amongst the squalid background of their working lives. A tragi-comedy, a bizarre drama, a film that runs the full course of emotion and action to a surprising and stunning climax.
