Doctor Taylor, his wife, and daughters are on their way to a hospital deep in the jungle when they are attacked by cannibals. The youngest daughter escapes, but is found by the river by the chief of the tribe and is regarded as a goddess. Doctor Taylor manages to escape and is found by a hospital worker wandering in the jungle. He is declared as being of unsound mind and sent to a mental home. 10 years later he returns to the jungle in search of his daughter. The safari turns out to be a deathly disaster.
