Nick Loomis travels to Australia to promote the America Youth Orchestra Concert being held at the Sydney opera House. Garth Kingswood plans to follow in a few days to attend the Gala Premiere. Loomis is met at the airport by INDECO's Sydney man Ralph Fleming who informs him of the mysterious death of another company man Jack Deakin. After Deakin's funeral, Nick meets Opera House PR Girl, Terry McKenna, and is briefed on the planned meetings leading up to the premiere, starting with a cocktail party that evening. Within hours, what appeared to be an enjoyable business trip for Loomis turns into a nightmare. Nick has been asked by Martin Haber in San Francisco to hand over contracts of Cyprus Zilkha. While doing so, Nick is jumped by two men, shots are fired and suddenly Nick is on the run from the henchmen and the Australian authorities, wanted for murder.
