Kung Fu Hero, Chang Hao, "The Angry Dragon", is a police Chief Inspector seeking to break up a gang involved in smuggling and kidnapping. The gang are opposed by the boss of a Martial Arts Institute, his son and his pretty daughter Tsui Feng. During the Chinese New Year festival the gang try to start a fight between Tsui Feng's father and Chen the head of a rival Martial Arts Institute who is in love with her. The Dragon steps in to stop the fight and Tsui Feng falls in love with him. The gang kidnaps Tsui Feng but the Dragon saves her, but later has to fight the whole gang, which he chases away. The head of the gang then sends for two fierce and ruthless fighters and with their help succeeds in kidnapping Tsui Feng, killing her father while incriminating Chang who loves her. Tsui Feng is rescued by her maid-servant and the Dragon enlists the help of her brother Liang Cheng to help him break up the gang. Though greatly outnumbered by the gang they succeed in destroying them and killing its head man. The Dragon and his sweetheart then leave together. The film is an almost continuous series of combat and set fights to entertain the most avid Kung Fu fans.
