Synopsis
Top Video in conjunction with the World Karate Council UK presents THE ESSENTIAL DEFENCE PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN
Robin Webb started his career in Amateur Boxing and by 1967 had collected 35 titles. Switching to the Martial Arts he obtained black belts in four categories and is acknowledged as a master in the Orient. By 1976 Rob was teaching, first classical, then Full Contact Karate. 19 of his students are in the World ratings including two World Champions. He is greatly in demand for TV, training and lecturing and in 1982 founded the World Karate Council. For personal reasons Rob recently became involved in women's self defence and his time is given freely to discussion groups, police community action groups and TV network programmes all over North America. His methods prove that women, so often today the innocent victims of unprovoked, brutal and sometimes even fatal attacks, need not be trained martial artists in order to protect themselves - in fact Friederike, who appears with Rob had no experience of the art prior to filming the programme.
