Billy Joe, the leader of an outlaw religious band vows vengeance when Fanny testifies against him for hideously killing her husband. One day Fanny, who is now working for the Judge, reluctantly agrees to stay at his isolated country house to look after his three teenage children for the weekend. The series of events which follow are more horrific than can possibly be imagined - culminating in a surprise ending which contains the most terrifying moments of the film.
