When attempt after attempt is made on the life of the King of an oil-producing, potentially rich nation, the natural assumption is that the would-be assassinations are political. But is the attacker a political figure — or a hired killer? That's what Stone, an American Secret Service Agent, has to find out because whoever the killer is, he has one distinct 'trade-mark' — a passion for candy. And the candy wrappers he leaves behind him become vital clues to his eventual identification. If the King dies, his successor stands to gain power — and great wealth.
