Young parents-to-be Tom and Evelyn arrive at their favourite Spanish island for a restful holiday in the sun. But there is a sinister calm about the place: the adult population seems to have disappeared, and the remaining children are distinctly unfriendly. Tom and Evelyn decide to leave immediately, but a horrifying series of events - and a macabre climax - make leaving and living, impossible.
