Synopsis
MURDER... RAPE... AND SAVAGERY... THEIR TERROR KNEW NO BOUNDS... THEIR CRUELTY NO FRONTIERS
In the early 9th century, the Normans had terrorised, raped and pillaged their murderous way across the entire length of Britain. Culminating in the peaceable friendship of Olivier d'Anglon, a nobleman friendly with the King of England, but despised by his enemy, the Baron of Saxony. He plans to kidnap the King, dressing his troops in Norman guise and so bring about another war. Were it not for the beautiful Svetania, the plan could succeed, but not before torture, intrigue and cruelty have claimed the lives of many. After bloody battles and furious duels, peace is at long last restored and Normans and Britons live in relative harmony together.
